Watch Dallas Mavericks vs Houston Rockets 4/18/15 full game replay

The Houston Rockets had a superb season, led by MVP candidate James Harden. Playing without All-Star C Dwight Howard for much of the year, Harden carried the team by averaging 27.4 points and 7.0 assists per game.

On the final night of the regular season, Harden recorded his fourth triple double of the season in a 117-91 home win over the Utah Jazz. The win clinched the Southwest Division title and gave the Rockets the #2 seed in the West. It was Houston’s first division title since 1994.

The Rockets have won three straight games overall and won 30 games at home during the regular season.

The Mavericks looked like a team that was on their way to becoming one of the conference elite teams. Dallas has one of the highest scoring starting lineups in the league and can score in a variety of ways. The team acquired PG Rajon Rondo from Boston in a move that was supposed to take them to the top. The move has not worked according to plan and the Mavericks are relegated to a measly 7th seed.

Dallas has split their last ten games overall and posted a 23-18 mark on the road this season. In-state rivals will be paired in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, as the Dallas Mavericks will visit the Toyota Center to take on the Houston Rockets in game one of their best of seven series.

Playoffs 1st Round Game 1 Dallas Mavericks vs Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center, Houston, Texas.. Houston Rockets lead series (1-0). Game 2 played on Wed, April 22.
